Anthrax

Of 89 known strains of anthrax, the most famous strain is Ames. This is the strain used in the 2001 attacks in the US.

Who have thought that something so dangerous could look so innocent and cute? These deadly little spores remain dormant until they enter a living body, then they reactivate and quickly multiply. If inhaled, a person will suffer from a severe respiratory infection with flu-like symptoms for the first few days, followed by a respiratory collapse. The mortality rate is almost 100%.
