I originally created this cute little guy for official Xbox One contest, back in late 2013. Of my 50+ designs, this was the only one to make it through. As the time of this writing, you can still find it under the Gamer Pic list on the Xbox settings.
Artist retained copyright to their works. Which ended up being a good thing, considering we only got a lousy controller for a console we did not own. To my surprise, this continues to be a popular gamer pic on all Xbox consoles since the Xbox One. So much so, it's been used as avatars off Xbox.
In 2021, I completely redesigned the cub with more details and a much cuter & happier appearance. I've dubbed the redesign Singing Panda Cub™
